Machining Supervisor โ Manufacturing Operations - Full time

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Machining Supervisor to oversee daily machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a strong leader with expertise in manual and CNC machining, tube processing, and team supervision. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day machining activities to ensure smooth workflow and on-time production.
- Lead machining operations involving manual and CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Oversee tube handling and machining processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and product quality.
- Monitor production schedules and allocate manpower and resources effectively.
- Train, mentor, and support machinists and machine operators to enhance performance and technical skills.
- Ensure all machining work meets engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and reduce downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure proper maintenance, tooling, and equipment upkeep.
- Enforce workplace safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and provide regular operational updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with manual and CNC lathe and milling operations.
- Solid understanding of tube machining and mechanical handling processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of machining tools, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and operational efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven production environment.
