Landscape Architect

Anchor Talent has partnered with a mid-sized Engineering firm based out of Fort Worth to identify a Landscape Architect to join their team. As the Landscape Architect, you provide design solutions by performing in 2D, 3D AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. This role is an on-site the person most successful in the role will have a Professional Texas Landscape Architect license, AutoCAD experience, and a bachelors in landscape architecture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reports, budget estimates, and necessary drawings using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and related software
• Prepare, design, and execute proper materials for landscape projects that can be sustainable and demonstrate companies abilities
• Work with vendors, engineering team, and clients so present project designs in accordance with company and community standards
• Working with plant-based materials and determining which materials will best work for the projects
• Conduct administrative tasks such as site visits, assessments, surveys, field observations and reports, shop drawing reviews, and responding to project RFIs

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture
• Professional Texas Landscape Architect License
• 3+ years of experience working with and in Landscape Architecture, (in Texas preferred)
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, MS Office
• Good communication skills and ability to work on multiple projects at one time
• Vast knowledge of plant-based materials including but not limited to: shrubbery, perennials, ground covering, trees, and ornamental grasses along with the proper care procedures and instructions for each to thrive and provide continuous growth
• Must be a US Citizen (no sponsorship available)
