Tank Program Coordinator

EIS is currently seeking an experienced Tank Program Coordinator to work onsite at an O&G refinery in the Greater New Orleans area. About the Position:
- Develop work scope for tank repairs, modifications and replacement as well as associated piping.
- Develop RFQ packages for engineering, design and construction for tank and piping scope.
- Plan for upcoming tank work; ensure the work is coordinated and communicated in advance to all parties involved.
- Ensure materials and equipment are ready in advance
- Develop data sheets to order owner furnished materials, review contractors’ construction drawings, follow and support projects through the completion of construction.
Required Qualifications:
- Be in good standing with DISA
- Valid TWIC or the ability to obtain.
- Must have 10 years of experience working in projects or construction in a refinery or petrochemical industry.
- Previous Refining Tank Program background
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent training or education.
- Knowledge and/or Certifications in API 650 and 653
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer with field work in plant as required.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs when needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, still toed shoes, or other equipment as required. Confined space entry into tank may be required.
