Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Metal Finisher for a fabrication company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the finishing of fabricated metal parts using both hand and power tools.

Pay Rate
$12.00 to $16.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00Am to 3:30PM.

Metal Finisher Duties and Responsibilities
• Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defect, or to prepare for further finishing using hand and power tools.
• Trim, scrape or deburr objects or parts using hand and power tools.
• Assemble Items as instructed by the Production Coordinator or Department Lead.
• Read and Interpret blueprints and/or drawing to determine the specific finish requirements.
• Ensure work is completed safely with a great level of focus and attention while adhering to all ISCO and OSHA standards.

Metal Finisher Qualifications and Requirements
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift, lifting test to be administered
• Drug screen and background check required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Demonstrated competency in basic hand and power tool usage.
