As a member of our team, you'll be immersed in the world of industrial pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF) and commercial plumbing products, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise that is second to none.

About the Job:

• CDL Driver / Delivery Responsibilities Include:
  • Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles.
  • Maintains Daily Truck logs including all safety and pre-trip checklists.
  • Delivers orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
  • Maintains phone or radio contact with the supervisor to communicate delivery instructions or updates.
  • Inspects truck equipment & performs emergency roadside repairs when needed.

• May also be responsible for Distribution job functions including:
  • Pulls orders for shipment from warehouse and pipe yard inventory utilizing order picker or forklift equipment.
  • Stages and prepares orders for shipment along with all shipping paperwork.

What We Need From You:

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of related warehouse, forklift, and CDL driver delivery experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid CDL, Class A Driver's License. Medical Certificate/Health Card following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience.
• Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday. Road trips will be daily, no overnights.
• Physical Ability: You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
