New England Federal Credit Union is looking for an experience HR Associate to join our growing team! Provides administrative support to members of the Human Resources team. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the benefit and human resource files for each employee within the organization. Provides back up to other HR team members and participates in initiatives to support the broader department efforts.
Specific duties include:
- Accountable for printing and accurately filing employee documentation into their respective HR or Benefit files. Coordinates, maintains and schedules off site storage for HR and Benefit filing. Responsible for HR mail distribution for the team. Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding all employee documentation.
- Supports new employee onboarding tasks including but not limited to preparing and mailing new hire packets, collecting and scanning new paperwork, processing I9s, filing completed new hire paperwork and purchasing supplies and food for the day.
- Provides various administrative activities which supports the HR team tasks and projects. Examples these activities include but not limited to scheduling meetings, taking HR meeting minutes, distribution of the quarterly time off accrual spreadsheets to management, managing the 90 day orientation checklist, communication mailings, scheduling, invoice preparation and NVendor document management.
- Schedules, provides communication/mailing and some event coordination for various employee appreciation gatherings and special company events. Examples of these events include but not limited to holiday party, summer gatherings, AED & CPR training, on-site flu vaccinations, United Way Campaign and wellness committee events.
- Audits all HR data entry within various HR platforms.
- Maintain a schedule of when, where all employment compliance posters must be added, edited and/or removed and ensure we are in compliance. Provides back up to other HR team members and participates in initiatives to support the broader department efforts
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office required.
