Job Description

Contract remote CDL Recruiter need, must reside near Redmond, WA. You’ll play a crucial role in sourcing and hiring qualified bus drivers for a transportation company. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and actively recruiting new drivers. You’ll be the initial point of contact for driver applicants and will help build a skilled and reliable driver team.

Identifying quality candidates, confirming their qualifications, and placing them in open roles within the company. Their responsibilities span the entire recruitment process, from researching job seekers to conducting interviews and handling hiring paperwork.

Actively seek out potential CDL Drivers and maintain a talent pool.

Review applications, screen drivers, and ensure they meet the necessary qualifications for the job.

Manage the hiring process, from initial contact to filling out hiring paperwork.

Maintain and analyze recruiting strategies.

Analyze and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruiting and retention goals.

Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Demonstrate energy and drive in both passive and active recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

Prior experience recruiting CDL Drivers.

Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of Celadon Team Operation and network flows.

Understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Managing leads generated by recruiting efforts.
