Construction Superintendent

A leading residential builder is looking for a great applicant to fill a Superintendent role. The Superintendent is the lead of every project and manages all functions related to construction site management, provide excellent customer service and ensure that homes are built safely with quality materials while following company standards throughout each phase of building process. Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the construction process for small subdivisions and infill custom homes, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
• Oversee, manage, and schedule subcontractors, scopes of work, and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
• Ensure health and safety goals are met on-site, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
• Deliver a quality product with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
• Meet project schedule expectations by effectively coordinating and managing resources.
• Utilize skill set or experience to bid out some of the work and solicit bids based on scope of work and general conditions, optimizing project costs and efficiency.
• Work with agencies for utilities and permits, making applications as necessary, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with agencies for inspections, sign-offs, and other regulatory processes to facilitate project progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience in residential construction, with a proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and excellence.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current and active CSLB GC license preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
