(2) Summer Food Service Driver's
- Part-Time
These driver positions transport prepared food to various summer meal sites. Typically, employees use an Agency owned and operated vehicle for delivery. In the event an employee uses his/her personal vehicle out of necessity mileage will be reimbursed.
DUTIES:
- Transport prepared food from the Nutrition Services central kitchen to designated summer meal sites.
- Assist with meal packaging in to route coolers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to relate well with site staff
- Maintain a high degree of personal cleanliness
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Knowledge of the objectives of the Senior Nutrition Program is helpful
- Ability to frequently lift in excess of 35 pounds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read well and follow instructions and have 3-12 months related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- Valid NYS Driver’s License and a diving record within Agency policy
(Temporary) Part-Time up to 22.5 hours per week/13 weeks per year
Monday through Friday - 7:30 am to Noon
