Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Cardiology Physicians, P.A. is a practice of ten cardiologists who strive to provide the highest quality of cardiovascular services in the state of Delaware and its surrounding areas. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to diagnose and treat health conditions in our busy Cardiology practice. As an advanced practitioner you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. You will be seeing patients both in an inpatient and outpatient basis in multiple locations. Extensive clinical experience in Cardiology is vital. You’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. Strong electronic medical records background is preferred. Qualifications:

• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
• Expertise in Cardiology
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ethics
• Team spirit with a positive attitude
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
• Valid Delaware licenses and BLS/ACLS certifications a plus.

This is a full-time position; four days per week, 10-hour day shifts with rotating on call. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance and 401(k) plan.
