Job Description
INDUSTRIAL PIPE FITTER - TRAVELING
- Should have a minimum of 5 years industrial experience.
- Willing to Travel to Various Industrial Sites
- Willing to Follow all Safety Requirements
- Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
- Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves
- Read and interpret trade drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
Pipefitter is responsible for fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel and stainless along with the appropriate valves and fittings, utilizing various tools and equipment in accordance with drawing, arrangements and blue prints.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Welding License and/or Certification
- Good Numerical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Attention to Details
- Strong Communication Skills
- Basic Computer Skills - Microsoft Applications
