Accounting Assistant

Hire Connections is working with a growing medical device company in search of an Entry Level/Junior Accountant to join their team! This individual will be responsible for assisting the accounting team with reviewing reports/spreadsheets, Assist with receiving payments, entering invoices into an ERP system, and handling new or current vendors with setup or inquiries. 

*** The job will take place in Greenwood Village area ***

Essential Responsibilities:

• Review spreadsheets and reports to ensure accuracy
• Review and enter invoices into the ERP system
• Assist with receiving payments and posting payments to Vendor accounts
• Assist in reconciliation expense reports 
• Reaching out to customers and vendors for any past due accounts
• Enter tracking/shipping information on invoices
• Print invoices and attach to the associated order
• email necessary PDF invoices to specified customers
• Transfer invoice information via EDI
• Assist in completing and running sales tax reports for monthly and yearly

Required Skills:

• 2 years of Accounting experience is preferred
• Strong in Microsoft Office 
• Ability to accurately and efficiently type 50-55 WPM
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to read fine print/text regarding invoices
• Must have great time management skills
