Lead Dispatcher

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Technician Support Coordinator (Dispatcher) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the central point of contact for coordinating and dispatching our team of technicians to service calls and appointments. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and prioritize service requests from clients via phone, email, or other communication channels.
• Coordinate the scheduling of service appointments and dispatch technicians to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure they are equipped with all necessary information and materials for each job.
• Monitor and track the progress of service calls, providing updates to clients and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize scheduling efficiency and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including job details, technician assignments, and client communications.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm
• Experience with multi-tasking and high volume calls (100+ calls on some days!)
• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service, even on high-stress days.
• Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Service Titan software is a plus
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office word and excel
• Dependable, reliable transportation, outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the plumbing or HVAC industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude.
• Proficiency in using computer software and scheduling systems to manage service requests and technician assignments.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and terminology is a plus, but not required.
