Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending upon prior experience

Essential job duties for this Quality Engineer will include:
- Ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Work with quality and production personnel to implement quality assurance and maintain ISO9001:2015 compliance.
- Develop quality metrics and associated data collection systems.
- Conduct process audits, recommend changes based on findings and perform follow up verification.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, testing results, corrective actions, detailed work instructions, manuals, and prints; Assist with creation and upkeep of Process Documents.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Collect external data and internal test results to support engineering and provide input into the product reliability program.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to audit and monitor suppliers' product quality performance.
- Provide support to engineering, quality, and production, ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains and contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Product Quality Planning, collaborating with engineering and production teams to approve products for release based on comprehensive quality evaluations and tests.
- Assist in performing DOE and FMEA's to select test criteria or quality controls for subassemblies and final product.
We're looking for skilled Quality Engineers with the following background profile/skillset:
- B.S. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within an electro-mechanical product environment.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2015).
- Proficiency in using various testing and measurement equipment for electro-mechanical products. Experience in conducting performance or reliability testing is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in lean operations including problem solving techniques; Root Cause – 5 Why, DFMEA, Lean 6s
