Training Instructor

The Training Instructor will lead the teaching of the on-site corporate training program.  They will also assist in identifying the desired learning objectives for the program, as well as with the development of a training curriculum for the overall company. 

Specific Duties Include:

• Follow the guidelines and schedule for the training of new technicians and salespeople, including the general week of classroom training, the week of specialized pest control training and the week of specialized termite control training.
• Work in the field with technician and salespeople during non-scheduled classroom time. 
• Reinforce learning of all employees by selecting and utilizing training material and media. 
• Provide feedback to management concerning comprehension of employees and effectiveness training. 
• Prepare training and resource materials by identifying purpose and assembling and composing information. 
• Provide technical support for all employees in the field. 
• Contribute to team effort by performing any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager of Training. 

Saturdays and evening work my be required at times. 

Must maintain a valid driver's license and operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable state and local laws. 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a training position preferred
• Proven ability to effectively teach others
• Excellent interpersonal and observational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
