Branch Operations Manager

Dakota Fluid Power, a Singer Industrial company, is looking for a General Manager to handle the day-to-day and strategic direction of the Dakota Fluid Power Company. Singer Industrial is one of America’s largest Industrial Distributors with a North American footprint of more than 100 locations with over 1,400 employees. We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products, and services.

Job Duties Include:

• Responsible for the day-to-day business operations.
• Collaborate with sales to meet corporate objectives and customer service expectations.
• Analyze processes, make recommendations for improvements, and eliminate waste.
• Responsible for performance evaluations and future development of team members.
• Partner with the recruiting to maintain proper staffing levels.
• Communicate with senior management for branch level needs on equipment, manpower and inventory.
• Coordinate with corporate to ensure the proper inventory levels and maintenance required for the branch.
• Ensure inventory cycle counting is maintained at an acceptable accuracy level.
• Operate as a working manager performing all job duties as required.
• Manage and review locations’ timecard requirements through ADP.
