About the Role

This Site Industrial Controller role supports financial accounting systems, reporting, compliance, and daily accounting operations in a multi-entity environment. The position reports to finance leadership and plays a key role in financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, GAAP compliance, audit support, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

  • Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and properly documented

  • Support close-related reporting and reconciliation activities across multiple entities

  • Maintain financial records and ensure reporting deadlines are met

  • Provides analysis of monthly results to the management (explain variance vs. budget, month N-1 on all P&L and activity analysis lines)

  • Prepares/reviews reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts, analyzes balances to ensure they are accurate, communicates unreconciled items to management

  • Contribute to budget and MTP processes (guidelines, recharges, standard templates...)

  • Proposes solutions for the litigations between sites, product lines, product groups (transfer price, R&D recharges...)

  • Develop Excel-based workbooks, worksheets, financial models, and analytical tools to support projects, planning, and internal operations

  • Ensure the deployment of standard tools from Group/Division/PG/PL within RO

  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo's policies

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance

  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to be a self-starter, taking the initiative to solve problems

  • Ability to analyze problems, to compile data, to determine facts and reach a logical conclusion

  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with SAP and Google applications is strongly preferred
