IT Manager (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team to oversee IT operations and strategy. As the IT Manager, you will oversee the company's day-to-day IT operations and partner with the Director of Information Services to shape forward-looking initiatives that enable the company's future growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing compliance with all IT policies throughout the organization while establishing and refining internal policies and procedures within the IT department to ensure secure and seamless operations and enhance support to other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Lead and mentor the IT team by encouraging collaboration and innovation in daily tasks.
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of our cloud-based infrastructure and IT software.
• Lead IT support for manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard company data.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure effective utilization of resources and cost control.
• Assist with the development and management of the IT budget, making strategic recommendations to allocate resources effectively.
• Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, track their lifecycle, and plan for upgrades as necessary.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and policies.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for adoption as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions to enhance productivity.
• Prepare regular reports on IT performance and key metrics for management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 2 years in management.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS infrastructure and related systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure including AWS, JumpCloud, Meraki, 1Password, Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft 365.
• Expert in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of IT security best practices and compliance requirements
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be local to Wilson, NC
