2024-25 School Building Aid (Grades 3-8)

Paul Robeson Charter School (PRCS) is a free, lottery-based, open-enrollment charter school currently serving students from across Trenton in grades 3-8. The 2024-2025 school year is an exciting year for PRCS because we will start serving students in kindergarten and 1st grade and become a full K-8 school in 2025-2026!

Opportunity

PRCS is seeking a passionate Building Aid to join the PRCS family for the 2024-2025 school year! The Building Aid will primarily work to support the school team with student transitions and activities. This role also supports the front office team as a receptionist and operations assistant. An ideal candidate will feel comfortable pitching in and supporting different tasks each day. This role will be part of the school operations team and is managed by the Director of Operations. The expected salary range is $40,000-$50,000 based on years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily student activities including lunch duty, recess duty, and hallway monitoring.

• Work with culture and instructional teams to support with student transitions, including bathroom monitoring and hallway monitoring.
• Support the culture team with arrival, dismissal, and school-wide events.
• Work with the operations team to support front office duties on a daily basis. Examples of support will be: answering phones, filing, and clerical tasks as needed.

Educational Background and Work Experience

• Associate’s degree preferred;
• Experience working with middle school children, school-setting experience preferred
