Data Analyst I

SUMMARY

The Data Analyst is responsible for data analytics and report creation related to sales, marketing, and financial trends across multiple platforms for CrossLink Professional Tax Solutions and its customers. This role will also be actively involved in influencing, implementing, and documenting database and reporting processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide CrossLink Professional Tax Solutions and its customers with analytics, data lists, reports in support of corporate or customer objectives.

2. Support efforts to analyze customer needs and provide related reports.

3. Develop and implement databases and data collection systems.

4. Actively manage report and data alignment between multiple backend databases.

5. Work directly with inter-departmental leads including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Service, Training, Operations, etc. to ensure long-term customer retention.

6. Ensure standardization of both internal and external reporting.

7. Serve as backup for Database Administrators on as needed basis.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field.

2. Must have a solid background in SQL queries.

3. Experience with data visualization tools - Tableau or similar.

4. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

5. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.

6. Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

7. Ability to work well in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sit for a long time.

Must be able to operate a computer and a mouse, type, write, and file documents.

Position is in a regular office environment and requires extensive usage of a computer.
