LHH is seeking a Benefits Specialist to manage the day-to-day operations of our clients benefits and compensation programs. The successful candidate will ensure that our compensation and benefits, including retirement plans and leave policies, are competitive in the market and compliant with federal and state regulations. Job Details:
Type: Temp ASAP-End of June (could convert to direct hire after)
Pay: $23hr+
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46205
Schedule: M-F 8:30a-5p (hybrid after a few weeks of training, 3 days in office/2 days remote)
Daily Functions:
Act as a liaison with carriers to identify potential claim issues and implement corrective measures
Maintain records for employee benefit administration
Manage the employee benefit program
Review and approve administrative transactions in BenefitFocus on a daily basis
Administer the ADP Healthcare Compliance Program to ensure accurate monitoring and offering of medical plan coverage as mandated by the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
Conduct benefit presentations during new hire orientation training, either in person or virtually
Reconcile payroll deduction files from BenefitFocus before payroll processing
Extract and reconcile Payroll Verification Reports for flexible spending
Monitor and maintain the Employee Tuition Assistance Program for all eligible employees
Extract and reconcile billing for all benefit plans
Reconcile short-term disability reporting, calculate expected return-to-work dates, and communicate with STD carrier
Collaborate with the benefit team on plan design, eligibility, and benefit processes
Communicate with the benefit team to identify medical services not offered and relay information to the medical carrier for proper coding/claim processing
Administer the life insurance program, including death benefits for employees or covered dependents
Assist COBRA members with benefit inquiries and eligibility date issues

Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of relevant experience without degree
Proficient in Benefit Focus, SAP and Success Factor I preferred
Must be organized, efficient communication, detail oriented.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
