ROLE SUMMARY

The HR Generalist (HRG) – Recruitment & Talent Management is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent to meet organizational goals. This role involves developing recruitment strategies, enhancing employer branding, and supporting talent management initiatives. The HRG collaborates with hiring managers and HR team to drive recruitment outcomes and foster employee engagement and development.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS; but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers, oversee the full recruitment cycle from job posting to interviewing and selection, pre-employment screening. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for successful onboarding.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including online channels, social media platforms, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Enhance our employer brand through compelling job postings, employer branding initiatives, and participation in industry events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop engaging content for recruitment campaigns.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and feedback to maintain a positive employer reputation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and programs; determines changes to be made and initiates changes to programs to ensure appropriate skills development.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and career development.
  • Track key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, turnover rate, to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to communicate recruitment activities and outcomes.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to the employee life cycle, including onboarding, new hire orientation and off-boarding processes. Maintain data into HRIS and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Promote and support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and morale.
  • Actively participate in various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the development and enhancement of HR programs and processes.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and/or human resources
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent management principles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS and other recruitment software.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP is a plus.
