Underground Semi-Skilled Labor (New Hope)

Position summary

Our semi-skilled labor employees are a vital part of the crew and perform locates of underground facilities, set pedestals, troubleshoot coax, copper, fiber and more. Overall, crews are responsible for trenching/plowing communication cable, fiber optic cable, electric cable, gas line, and conduit. If you like, we will teach you skills such as locating and operating heavy equipment.

Qualifications

You are required to have:

• Valid driver's license
• Class A CDL
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Experience with construction, landscaping, farm work, or related
• Self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instruction
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with a wide variety of personalities

Additional preferred qualifications:

• 1 or more year of experience as an underground utility locator, drill locator or experience operating light equipment
• Utility construction experience a plus!

This position will be based out of New Hope, MN.
