Shifts- Day Shift – 8-5pm
Job Description Summary:
Looking for Manufacturing Associate who can Support Cocreate Production Operations and perform all in-line safety, quality and performance testing
Main Responsibilities:
Support Cocreate Production Operations of by performing the following;
- Sheet metal fabrication (Operating CNC Laser Cutter and CNC Press Brake - will receive all required training
- Learn to use light manufacturing equipment (Lasers, Lathe, Mills, Saws and Hand tools)
- Assembly of various parts, electrical components and wiring harnesses
- Perform quality inspection of material, final assemblies and fabricated parts.
- Perform all in-line safety, quality and performance testing.
- Pack and palletize finished goods to ready for shipping
- Work with the team leader to control and track part/material inventory.
- Work with the team leader on continuous improvement
- Help to validate and maintain standard work procedures and
- Operate forklift (will receive all required training)
- Follow all Safety Guidelines and Instructions
- Additional Tasks as instructed by Team Leader
Job Requirements ( Top Skills)
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Be able to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines which are in English.
- Pass a background check, drug screening and complete a medical health questionnaire
- Have the ability to perform the functions of the position, with or without an accommodation, including, but not limited to:
- Prolonged standing, frequently handling various parts for assembly, frequent walking, reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching
- Have fine motor dexterity, neck flexion, and be able to use air tools
- Be able to reach overhead, reach at shoulder level, reach at knee and floor level.
- Bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, neck extension/rotation, and using vibratory tools
- Handling and lifting of parts and/or equipment (minimum of 42 lbs. lifting/carrying and 40 lbf. pushing/pulling)
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in business or related field preferred
