Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and refine the company's mergers and acquisitions strategy, taking into account industry trends, competitive landscape, and long-term growth objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential acquisition targets, strategic partners, or investment opportunities that align with the company's strategic vision.
- Perform rigorous financial analyses, including valuation modeling, financial statement analysis, and investment appraisal, to assess the attractiveness and feasibility of potential deals.
- Strong hands-on analytical and financial acumen and understanding of how to prepare and present financial summaries to senior-level management.
- Lead due diligence efforts, working with cross-functional teams to evaluate target companies' operations, financial performance, intellectual property, legal and regulatory compliance, and potential risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as investment bankers, venture capitalists, industry experts, and potential partners.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that enhance the company's capabilities and market reach.
- Collaborate with post-merger integration teams to ensure smooth and successful integration of acquired companies, capturing synergies and maximizing value creation.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform the company's strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present periodic reports and presentations to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategic consulting, with a track record of successful deal execution.
- Strong financial acumen, including proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of M&A processes, legal frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Results oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence with a positive attitude and ability to roll up sleeves to execute the corporate strategy.
