Instructor Qualifications

General Requirements:

• Master's degree in subject area (see below for subject area details) AND Equivalent of 3 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field
  OR

• Master's degree in related area plus 30 quarter hours credit in upper division coursework in subject areas AND Equivalent of 3 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field
  OR

• Bachelor's degree in subject area AND Equivalent of 4 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field
  OR

• Bachelor's degree in related area plus 30 quarter hours upper division course work in subject area AND Equivalent of 4 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field
  OR

• AAS degree in subject area or professional education AND Equivalent of 5 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field

These positions are included in the bargaining agreement between Portland Community College and the Portland Community College Faculty Federation Employees.
