Calvary Church has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician Supervisor to work directly with the Facilities Manager in developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance. Responsibilities include follow-up with daily task requirements and ongoing projects.
The candidate should be committed to the Calvary Articles of Faith, Mission, Purpose, and Philosophy. Must work well independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to create and maintain open communication with direct reports, coworkers, staff, ministry volunteers, and the congregation is required.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSABILITIES:
- Supervises employees for the maintenance landscaping of 100 acres of property
- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation of and servicing landscaping equipment
- Meet regularly with Facility Manager to discuss weekly tasks and plan for landscaping projects
- Communicate with staff concerning special assignments
- Ensures all tasks are accomplished and checks employees work
- Fills in for employees as needed and must be flexible to work as needed
- Working knowledge of horticulture
- Supervises application of fertilizer and pesticides to property grounds
- Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time

- Willingness to work as a team with co-workers
EXPERIENCE TRAINING:
- Keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Minimum High School Education
- Management of multiple projects simultaneously
