We are looking for a Shop Supervisor with strong leadership and extensive woodworking experience in a manufacturing environment. The role of the Shop Supervisor is to provide leadership and support for the Moulding and Welding departments, keeping projects on schedule, safety, ensuring job quality standards, and providing overall great customer service.

Essential Functions:

• Provides training for employees, including new procedures and safety policies.
• Quality assurance by inspecting materials for the quality of standards set forth by the company.
• Ensures efficient operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
• Executes maintenance activities and keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and calling for repairs.
• Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Good woodworking skills and power tool experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to work in a production type environment with some heavy lifting required.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position. Manufacturing environment.

Travel:

Some travel may be required for this position (<5%)
