Maintenance

Purpose of Position

Responsible for keeping production equipment operating so that quality, cost, and delivery goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Requires the skills to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Requires lifting, bending, squatting, walking to all parts of the plant, reaching above and below waist, carrying materials and climbing steps.
• Requires good eyesight to be able to measure, read instructions, measuring devices, and to read engineering drawings/ schematics.
• Requires the skills to repair, maintain, and clean machines and electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Requires fabricating racks, tables, and miscellaneous items.
• Requires using tools and equipment such as drill press, saws, multi-meters, oscilloscope, and etc.
• Requires driving a fork lift.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Education, Skills and Experience

• Must have a high school education & Vo-Tech or Technical Institute Training.
• Must read and apply data/specs from Engineering drawings/schematics.
• Must pass fork lift license and possess current driver's license.
• Must effectively perform all duties of Maintenance A.
• Must have 3 years experience in Maintenance area.
• Must have work experience in electronics, electrical and any 2 of the following skill areas:   welding, plumbing, mechanical, sheet metal and HVA
