Job Description: Persistent Technology Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in testing IT service management tools. This role is contingent upon award and will focus on testing IT service management tools, particularly with a strong preference for direct experience with ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead testing projects within an ITSM framework, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Test the integration of service management tools with other enterprise systems to ensure interoperability and functionality.
• Conduct testing within environments focused on modernization and process improvement, specifically within service management contexts.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and system performance.
• Identify and document software defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing activities align with project objectives and deadlines.
• Provide recommendations for improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in testing IT service management tools, with a preference for direct experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience leading testing projects within an ITSM framework.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification is essential.
• ITIL Certification is preferred, with advanced certifications such as ITIL Managing Professional.
• ISTQB Certified Tester certification is desired.
