Job Description
Position Description:
- Responsible for low voltage electrical system.
- Support plant on any Stop ships, campaigns, quality issues.
- Lead V18/V19 - LOW VOLTAGE WIRING & EDS COMPONENTS/ELECTRICAL POWER.
- Early Claims Binning/re-binning, read claims, contact dealerships on parts.
- Make HOT requests to ship parts to suppliers for root cause evaluation.
- Manage Quality project inputs, project health, and glidepaths.
- Provide part sign-off's to support builds.
- Review and sign-off Supplier Request for Engineering Authorization.
- Support Plant Material Cost Reduction blitzes.
- Chair/support Electrical Variability Reduction Team meetings.
- Support First Time Through issue resolution at plant. - Participate in Kansas City.
- Based Vehicle Functional Group and Functional Quality Review meetings when on the agenda.
- Coordinate/Support engineering change trials. Use the local supplier rep if available.
- Support fresh eyes reviews on pre-builds.
Skills Required:
- Technical ability to remove and replace parts on vehicles.
- 6 sigma green or black belt trained.
Education Required:
- BSME/BSEE
