Peoplelink is in partnership with a prominent client in the manufacturing industry. This company is a fast growing innerconnect contract manufacturer hiring a reliable, hard working assembler.
Assembler Shift:
- 1st shift
- Starting at 14.00 an hour
Assembler Job Summary:
- Read and follow wire harness/ cable assembly instructions.
- Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards.
- Operate semi-automatic equipment (such as crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire stripers).
- Conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures.
- Use a soldering iron to solder wires to connectors.
Assembler Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous assembly/ production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent hand dexterity
- Proficient in basic math skills
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Assembler Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Lifting requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/ or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Ability o distinguish colored wires for accurate assembly purposes
- Handle small parts
- Perform pull/push monitors up to 10 pounds frequently
