Job description

Build the Future of HVAC Manufacturing   

Location:  Athens, GA | Payrate: $16/hour | Schedule: 5am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday + Overtime MAY be required on Friday due to business demands 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with an industry leader in HVAC manufacturing to hire Manufacturing Assemblers in a climate-controlled environment. What You'll Do 

As a Manufacturing Assembler, you will: 

  • Assemble components for installation on refrigeration units. 

  • Perform equipment setup, operation, equipment adjustments, and minor preventive maintenance. 

  • Conduct assembly and inspection processes to ensure quality standards are met. 

  • Run tests on assemblies and equipment to verify safety and productivity before production. 

  • Complete work within established cycle times. 

  • Use a variety of hand and power tools 

  • Assemble hardware using clamps, clips, and brackets. 

  • Maintain shop supplies, floor stock, and production tools. 

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 

  • Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and productivity. 

  • Maintain departmental quality standards. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

What We're Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

  • Ability to safely use hand tools and battery-operated tools. 

  • Comfortable standing for extended periods throughout the shift. 

  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and perform repetitive tasks. 

  • Ability to routinely lift up to 35 pounds

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

  • Dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
