A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT PUMP TECHNICIAN / ENTRY-LEVEL PUMP MECHANIC
As an Assistant Pump Technician / Entry-Level Pump Mechanic, you provide assistance to our skilled professionals as you learn to repair and maintain electric submersible pumps and the associated pumping equipment in our shop. You enjoy working in a team-oriented environment where you receive on-the-job training and have access to innovative technology.
Each day, you inspect and test equipment. Using diagnostic tools, you troubleshoot malfunctions and determine the cause of performance issues. Your strong mechanical aptitude serves you well as you disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment. Organized and safety-oriented, you keep your work area tidy and follow all regulations. You love working with your hands and solving problems as you gain valuable skills!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to operate equipment and use hand tools
- Ability to stand throughout the shift
