Position Summary

The qualified candidate will complete work orders by applying knowledge of building operating systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Perform preventative maintenance, renovations, and repairs. Identify and report unusual or hazardous situations to management to preservice the integrity of the buildings and resident safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle any needed maintenance concerns in occupied, vacant, and model apartments.
Keep common areas and exterior clean and free of trash and debris.
Make apartments move-in ready by; cleaning, patching, painting, and repairing walls, fixtures, and flooring.
Perform daily inspections of the property and report any maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager with recommended solutions.
Supports the preventative maintenance schedule.
Prioritizes and completes service requests.
Responsible for taking calls for after-hour emergency maintenance, including some nights and weekends.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent
2-5 years of Maintenance experience at multifamily residential apartment communities
CFC Certification or Universal HVAC required
Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation to be used daily onsite
