SEAYa! Marine is the largest installer of Hull Shield Ultrasound Antifouling, electronics used on many top tier vessels to prevent dirty bottoms. We are seeking a skilled marine technician applicant to join our team.

An experienced technician with references in the marine trade including electronics manufacturer certifications would be the ideal candidate but not required. If you are this type of experienced applicant, we can offer pay and benefits exceeding what you are making now.

Recent trade school graduates or career changers may be considered as well but will start at a level commensurate with experience.

As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing various types of marine vessels. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.

Below is a sample of just some of the services we perform:

· Install electronics, including Hull Shield Ultrasound systems

· AC and DC electrical wiring

· AC and DC systems, troubleshooting/repair - Install/service/troubleshoot batteries, chargers, inverters,etc

· Marine electronics troubleshooting, installation, and repairs

· Transducer & thru hull installation/service

· Battery replacements and other heavy lifting tasks

· Sea trials for equipment calibration and testing if required

· (Preferred and not required) Fabrication/fiberglass/paint

· (Preferred and not required) Plumbing

· (Preferred and not required) Deck component repairs & replacements

· (Preferred and not required) Troubleshoot and repair engines and propulsion systems, both inboard and outboard

· Repair or replace faulty parts and components, ensuring proper installation and functionality

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on marine engines, electrical systems, and other components

· All other duties as assigned
