Preschool Assistant Director

As a Preschool Assistant Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall operations of our preschool program. You will work closely with the Center Director to ensure a high-quality educational experience for our students and maintain a safe and engaging environment.

Salary: $20-$23

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in implementing and supervising curriculum and activities that promote the physical, social, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children
• Assist in recruiting, training, and managing a team of educators and caregivers
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness to ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and company policies
• Build positive relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing updates on their child's progress
• Collaborate with the Center Director to develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, purchasing, and maintaining records/documents
• Assist with marketing and enrollment efforts to attract and retain families

Requirements

• Lead Teacher qualification
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in an early childhood education setting
• Working towards large center director qualification
• Knowledge of state licensing regulations and national quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children, parents, and staff
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer software
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications/licenses (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
