Worksite Location: Uniondale, NY (hybrid 3 days onsite)

Salary Range: $110,000-120,000

What you’ll do as the Insurance Account Manager | Construction Specialty:

• Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects
• Initiate renewal process for existing clients, and discuss and create renewal strategy with Producer
• Analyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing
• Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy
• Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals
• Finalize proposals and presentations in coordination with the Producer
• Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders and/or delegate certificate issuance
• Review policies for accuracy and review contracts
• Review client accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact client on receivable collections
• Participate in the claims process as directed by management, including claim submission, follow-up, and overall communication
• Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)

What you’ll bring to the Insurance Account Manager | Construction Specialty role:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5+ or more years of related work experience, specifically construction
• Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License - State of New York
• Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Applied EPIC
