Assembler II for West Metro Based Manufacturer of Industrial Machines

One of our clients, based in the west metro of Minneapolis has an immediate need for a full-time, hourly assembler to build large industrial machines. This role will be a w2, FTE of our client with full-time benefits, paid time off/paid holidays, competitive pay, and excellent career development. This role would be a Monday- Friday, day-time shift, a skilled assembler at our production facility.

This role's main responsibility is to construct sub-assemblies and assemble large industrial machines with guidance using documentation (CAD/AutoCad/SolidWorks) of mechanical parts, assembly drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and/or electrical schematics.

Prior experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent training preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of basic mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic shop math and blueprint reading skills, specifically CAD or related. 
• Prior experience assembling machines, preferably small/medium or large industrial machines.
