Construction Estimator Job Responsibilities:

●      Download project plans and specifications for flooring projects.

●      Input and execute takeoffs using ON Screen Takeoffs software.

●      Collaborate with staff to thoroughly understand project requirements and objectives.

●      Utilize construction knowledge to accurately estimate project costs.

●      Demonstrate leadership by providing guidance and support to team members.

●      Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.

●      Maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.

●      Problem-solve and adapt to changing project needs as they arise.

●      Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in construction estimating.

●      Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success.

●      Work Hours and Benefits: This is a full-time position based in our office in Pompano Beach. We offer a competitive salary based on qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401K, Health Insurance, and Vacation time.

Construction Estimator Qualifications and Skills:

●      Solid construction knowledge, particularly in the area of takeoffs.

●      Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with construction estimating software.

●      Prior experience with ON Screen Takeoffs software is highly desirable.

●      Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

●      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

●      Demonstrated leadership abilities.

●      Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.

●      Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, architecture, or related field preferred.

●      Certificate in general construction or related area.

●      Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in construction estimating.
