Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in our company's strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring a vision for the finance function, extensive experience in accounting, an outcome-oriented business, planning, & analysis approach, and have a proven track record in managing M&A activities. This role is crucial to ensuring our financial health and aligning financial and business metrics in support of the company's growth and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compliance and financial performance and reporting, financial planning, cash management, insurance, and M&A activities.
• Manage the company's business planning and analysis efforts, including budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic business decisions with in-depth financial analysis.
• Oversee the accounting department to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting, auditing, and global tax filing activities.
• Lead M&A initiatives, from identifying potential targets to conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and integrating acquired entities.
• Act as a strategic partner to functional leaders across the organization, providing financial insights and guidance. Collaborate closely with operations, sales, marketing, product development, and other departments to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization, ensuring that financial plans are aligned with business objectives and operational capabilities.
• Manage capital structure, cash flow, and lender relations to support the company's growth and flexibility.
• Implement robust financial systems, processes, and controls to manage risk, increase transparency, and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Regularly summarize and present business results to leadership, lenders and the board of directors highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing finance, accounting, and/or M&A activities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams towards achieving organizational goals.
• Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and the use of financial management software.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions preferred, from strategy to execution.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a keen analytical mind and a deep understanding of how to leverage financial data to drive business results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate complex financial and business scenarios.
