Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 2nd shift, 2-10:30pm, Saturdays 12pm-8:30pm
Projected duration: 6 months + potential for perm

Flow Cytometry experience (preferred).
Vaccine - COVID, HepB, TB test

Job Description:
The setup of flow cytometry panel.
Able to follow SOPs, complete basic calculations, shows good pipette technique, and good laboratory practices.
- Set up, adjust, maintain, and clean medical laboratory equipment.
- Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
- Analyze, gather, and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs, and narratives.
- Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating, and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
- May examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities.
- Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.

- Basic knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
- Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or other life science with completion of at least a 12-month training program in Medical Technology.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical or biological science from an accredited college or university and one year training and/or experience in the specialty in which testing is to be performed. Such training must be equivalent to that received in a school of Medical Technology.
OR
90 semester hours from an accredited institution that include the following:
16 semester hours of biology courses, which are pertinent to the medical sciences
16 semester hours of chemistry (at least 6 semester hours of Inorganic Chemistry)
3 semester hours of math
Completed an accredited clinical laboratory training program, or one year documented laboratory training or experience in the specialty that testing is to be performed.
OR
Associate’s degree in medical laboratory technology
