The Role

As the CFO Consulting Practice Business Operations Manager, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our CFO division. You'll collaborate closely with team leads and act as a representative for the Managing Director, CFO Practice across various projects and initiatives. This multifaceted role entails a wide range of duties, including providing guidance, managing administrative tasks, driving strategic initiatives, coordinating team efforts, and fostering transparent communication throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CFO organization and other Service Delivery Leads to ensure timely execution of projects and initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying project management best practices to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and enhance operational efficiency for increased productivity and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards.

  • Champion a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, emphasizing a high service quality commitment.

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the Managing Director, department heads, and stakeholders to promote synergy and problem-solving.

  • Foster open communication, leveraging collective expertise to align with company objectives and lead cross-functional teams for collaborative and successful project execution.

  • Ensure effective team communication, maintaining clarity, responsiveness, and mutual understanding.

  • Generate and disseminate operational reports and executive summaries to keep the Managing Director and stakeholders informed, condensing data into actionable insights, and providing feedback and observations on operational matters.

  • Maintain a clear reporting framework to communicate progress, hurdles, and successes consistently. 

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing a practical viewpoint on operational viability and obstacles.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, project management, business operations, or a closely related area.

  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.

  • Deep commitment to organizational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The base pay range target for the role described in this job description is $140,000 - $170,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition, full-time regular positions are eligible for, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time.
