Position Summary:
The Manna Dream Center Office Administrator is responsible for the administration and function of the Manna Dream Center. Maintaining daily business operations under the supervision of the Manna Dream Center Director.
General Responsibilities:
The Manna Dream Center exists to glorify God by equipping His people to change their world. As a MDC Staff member you are to assist in this vision by embodying the values and culture of Manna Church, by engaging within the local church, tithing, living a lifestyle consist with our bylaws, and by modeling SERVE - See and Shape the Future, Engage and Develop Others, Reinvent Continually, Value Results and Relationships, and Embody the Values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manna Dream Center Director with assigned administrative tasks.
  • Return all communications within 24 hours (1 business day).
  • Primary person responsible for the management of all accounting and financial transactions pertaining to the Manna Dream Center.
  • Assist the Manna Dream Center Director with the preparation of financial information for the Manna Dream Center Board meetings.
  • Pay or submit request (s) for payment of monthly bills (If a request, send to accountspayable@manna.church
  • Maintain all Manna Dream Center Budgets.
  • Maintain, prepare, and submit receipts and requisitions for credit card purchases for the Manna Dream Center Director.
  • Prepare monthly credit card reconciliation for the Manna Dream Center Director and the Manna Dream Center card.
  • Request and reconcile cash advances.
  • Submit requisitions for Outreach Checks or Cash Advances through Rock RMS.
  • Deposit donation checks received via mail or dropped off at the Manna Dream Center to Truist Bank. Copy checks and deposit slips along with providing fund code(s) and donor information to Manna Church Accounting Department.
  • Check mailbox daily, distribute mail correspondence, and action items accordingly.
  • Pickup Mail on Mondays from the Manna Dream Center Mailbox at Manna Church
  • Prepare and mail correspondence, such as donor recognition letters on behalf of the Manna Dream Center Director. Provide donation letters for material donations i.e. food or clothing items.
  • Procure plaques, coins and other recognition awards as directed.
  • Assist with fielding phone calls for the Manna Dream Center Director.
  • Facilitate processing of purchase requests for non-routine purchases, validate availability of funds and route to the Manna Dream Center Director for approval.
  • Receive and process receipts subsequent to purchases for accounting and credit card reconciliation.
  • Record all incoming calls and refer to Benevolence Coordinator, Shelter Administrator, and Case Management via the Contact Spreadsheet.
  • Assist in drafting and mailing correspondence as required.
  • Record your own hours (if applicable), approving your shifts by the 5th and 20th of each month, and requesting leave in a timely manner
  • Manage/Respond to Manna Dream Center email
  • Coordinate with Manna Resource Coordinator to collect, stock, and count leftover SERMON series invites, Monthly Prayer Cards, and all other handouts for the Pantry.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), that correspond with overall Manna Church operations, for all systems, processes and tasks associated with this duty position.
  • Prepare and maintain files for all systems, processes and tasks associated with this duty position.
  • Assist with the monitoring and responding to emails sent to the dreamcenter@manna.church account.
  • Assist with the management and scheduling of facility requests to include Small Group room assignments and events in coordination with the Operations Assistant.
  • Assist with scheduling and management of the Manna Dream Center calendar as necessary.
  • Other financial or administrative duties as assigned.
