Work Environment

This role is set in a home care environment, where you will work directly with patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Kinetic Care Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive, patient-centered therapy by managing every aspect of physical rehabilitation for an assigned group of patients, in coordination with physicians and care teams.
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and collaborating to develop personalized treatment plans that focus on goal achievement, while actively engaging patients in their recovery process.
  • Delivering skilled physical therapy interventions based on the established plans, ensuring that necessary adjustments are made according to patient progress.
  • Evaluating therapeutic and rehabilitative status of patients and actively participating in the overall care strategy.
  • Administering therapy sessions at patients’ homes with professional techniques aimed at improving their function and quality of life as per the physician’s directives.
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers in therapies, exercises, and the use of therapeutic appliances, ensuring they are well-equipped to support continued progress outside of therapy.
  • Prioritizing your caseload effectively to manage patient needs and coordinate daily staffing responsibilities effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve a diverse patient population ranging from children to elderly individuals, reflecting the comprehensive care spectrum of Kinetic Care Center. You will focus on diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, often requiring tailored approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient. Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
  • Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, to be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.
Preferred Experience
