Job Description

WorkSolved Staffing is hiring multiple people for Weekend Shift- Shake Out operator position at a client in Marne, MI. These are full-time positions with a shift from Friday – Sunday. 5am to 5pm. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40. Great opportunity to learn and expand your skillset! Air-conditioned environment.

Looking for quality candidates with:

Ability to maintain excellent attendance
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
High school diploma
Ability to stand for 12 hour shift
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Willing and able to work OT as necessary

Duties include:

Operate Shake Out Equipment: Operate machinery such as vibratory shakeout machines, conveyor systems, hand tools or hydraulic systems to remove sheet metal parts from molds or patterns.
Part Separation: Carefully separate individual metal parts from the mold or pattern, taking care not to cause any damage or deformities to the parts.
Quality Control: Inspect each part for defects or imperfections, ensuring that they meet the specified quality standards. Report any issues to the supervisor.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain shake out equipment regularly to ensure it operates efficiently. Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team.
Material Handling: Move metal parts to designated storage or processing areas using forklifts, cranes, or manual lifting equipment, ensuring they are stored safely and securely.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, including the number of parts processed, any defects found, and the time taken for each task.

Specifics:

Pay rate: $17.50
1st shift: 5am-5pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Friday – Sunday Schedule
12- hour shifts
