About the Role:
Join NORTH GEORGIA ANGEL HOUSE INC as a Direct Care Worker for Teenage Girls, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of young women in our care. This rewarding position allows you to provide support, guidance, and encouragement to help them thrive in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and supervision for teenage girls in a residential setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Teach life skills
  • Administer Medication
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment to ensure the well-being of all residents.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, families, and external professionals.
  • Document daily activities and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Degree preferred in the Human Services field
  • Two years of experience working with adolescents, particularly in a care or educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and care.
  • CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of start.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
