Position Overview
The core duty of a Blossom Bar Team Member is to prepare menu items for our customers, while observing all food safety and quality control guidelines. Blossom Bar Team Members are expected to go above and beyond to make sure our customers are satisfied with their experience.
This is either a full-time or part-time position, depending on the needs of the Blossom Bar Manager. If full-time, this position is not to exceed 40 hours each week or if a part-time position, this position is not to exceed 30 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Must have a Food Service Manager Certification completed within 90 days of hire.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive attitude and the highest levels of professionalism.
  • Must feel comfortable greeting all customers promptly, with kindness, respect, enthusiasm, and an overall great attitude. Must have great communication skills by showing the ability to listen, ask questions, and receive clear instructions.
  • Must be able to provide the highest level of customer service to our customers, going above and beyond to take care of their needs.
  • Must feel comfortable describing Blossom Bar items to customers and assisting customers by making recommendations. Must remain calm during high stress moments when under the pressure of multiple orders from customers.
  • Can maintain a clean and organized workspace, utilizing a "clean as you go" attitude, to ensure an inviting bar/station both in front and behind the counter. Prepare and serve items to customers based upon recipes, while minimizing food waste.
  • Must follow all established policies and procedures for food prep, quality control, portion control, and safety.
  • Must have a solid understanding of food safety.
  • Must ensure recipes are followed accurately while always maintaining quality control.
  • Ensure you are always working in a safe and productive manner.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand and walk for extended periods; occasionally sit, squat, or kneel; and rarely climb
  • Work indoors in climate-controlled environments, including walk-in coolers and freezers
