Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Friday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Occasional evenings/weekends for special events

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: 29 hours/week

We are seeking a driven, energetic, and mission-focused leader to take ownership of our Teen Programs (ages 12–18). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and is passionate about making a measurable impact in the lives of youth.

What You’ll Do

As the Teen Programs Manager, you will lead, design, and elevate a high-quality teen program while supervising staff and ensuring a safe, engaging, and outcome-driven environment.

Lead High-Impact Teen Programming

  • Design and oversee engaging programs that promote academic success, leadership, and healthy lifestyles
  • Build a safe, inclusive, and structured environment for teens
  • Drive participation and retention through relevant, high-interest programming

Own Program Quality & Outcomes

  • Set goals and continuously improve programs using data and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with BGCEP safety and program standards
  • Monitor attendance, engagement, and outcomes

Supervise & Develop Staff

  • Lead, coach, and evaluate staff and volunteers
  • Foster a strong team culture focused on accountability and impact

Engage Families & Community

  • Build relationships with parents, schools, and partners
  • Support outreach, recruitment, and program visibility efforts

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with teens in youth development, education, or similar settings
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to plan, manage, and execute engaging programs

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years in youth programming or supervision
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Work Environment

This is an active, hands-on role requiring engagement with youth, standing, walking, and participating in activities. May include occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs) and operating a vehicle.
