Job description

Caregiver Needed 

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable caregiver to join our family’s support team. This is a part-time position, and must include one weekend day.

About the Role

You will be assisting a sweet, 90 pound teenager who uses a wheelchair and needs help with daily living activities. We’re looking for someone who brings patience, kindness, and a caring spirit to their work. *Note that this position is not for Trinity Life at Home but will be for a private family. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all activities of daily living, including:
    • Dressing
    • Bathing
    • Toileting
  • Safely transfer a 90 pound teenager from wheelchair to bed
  • Drive to physical therapy (Transportation provided)
  • Provide companionship and supportive care
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to safely perform physical transfers
  • Credentials including CPR/First-Aid, TB Screen, Driver's License, MVR
